The Anthracite Heritage Museum chronicles the difficult trek of those who immigrated from Europe to work in the area's mining and textiles industries. Carefully wrought dioramas, authentic artifacts, photographs, and other displays depict a proud community of people who overcame difficult working conditions to carve out their own rich tradition of family and culture. The museum lies in the heart of McDade Park, just north of Pine Hills Country Club.
